Zoo Nkauj means "beautiful" in Hmong. This piece started out as an experiment as I played with type forms in physical forms. By using different pieces of Hmong traditional clothing from various subgroups and designs, regardless of the differences, they can all come together and be beautiful.
This piece has been shown publicly three times now.
- Annual Student Exhibition 2017 at the University of Minnesota Duluth, displayed in the Tweed Museum from April 4th to May 3rd , 2017.
- AIGA MN's Design Impact Series: Print Show, displayed and sold copied at the St. Paul Neighborhood Network on May 20th, 2017.
